Description: United Cerebral Palsy of New York City, Inc. (UCP/NYC) is the leading nonprofit agency in New York City providing direct services, technology and advocacy to children and adults of all ages with cerebral palsy and related disabilities. Currently, UCP/NYC provides a continuum of services to over 10,000 New York City residents with disabilities and their families annually. These services are offered by a dedicated and trained staff of 1,600 individuals, including many employees who themselves have cerebral palsy or other disabilities.
Agency services include: Project CONNECT, Children’s/Youth Services, Adult Services, Housing and Residential Services, Family Support Services, Health Care Services, Early Intervention & Preschool Education, Evaluation Services, Early Childhood Development Center, Day Care & Universal Pre-K, School Age Education, Adult Day Programs (Day Habilitation & Day Treatment), Vocational & Supported Employment Programs, After School & Weekend Recreation Programs, Summer Day Camp, and Assistive Technology Resources.
